When asked to name his favourite dish to cook from the new seasonal menu, our Head Chef Josh opted for the 10 oz Hanger Steak served with hand-cut chips, tomato, mushrooms, onion rings and a mouthwatering watercress & béarnaise sauce.
Josh started cooking Hanger Steak after his time as a chef in France. “Sometimes referred to as Steak Anglaise, it’s a cut of beef that isn’t often used in the UK,” explains Josh. “I’ve chosen to include it in our seasonal menu as it’s full of flavour and makes a difference to cooking and serving a normal steak.”
